(John) Arrington Williams has a BFA in painting from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. He creates non-objective abstract paintings, landscapes, and esoteric Sacred Symbol drawings. His Merkaba drawings include the numerology and astrology components of the client.

I moved to Asheville in May and got religion this summer--I fell in love with the French Broad River! My recent art relates back to it---with a wide definition. Come see oil riverscapes, large watercolor wildlife, French Broads, berets, and scarves to adorn them!
For the past 20 years, I have written and illustrated children's books, and visited schools based in Southern California. Three of my books are available at the studio.

In addition to capturing the imagery and emotional resonance of the kitchen, I try to use my memories of the strong coastal light and rich lowcountry colors I grew up with to create mood and feeling in my paintings. As with cooking, vitality and freshness are the qualities I most strive to achieve in my work.
