Alicia is inspired by both her natural surroundings and the human figure. Her current work reflects her experimentation with application of paint and color, creating rich textures and whimsical, rustic imagery.

Alicia's talent extends beyond the canvas. She also crafts intricate sterling silver jewelery, which can often be found alongside her paintings.

Vase and Sculpture
copper, fold formed

I opened the school Earthspeak Arts in 2003 as an excuse to play with metal all day. The school continues to grow with students coming from around the country and region. When I am not teaching, I get to do my own work which is moving towards larger sculptural pieces in copper, silver, and bronze.

In a world of sameness, Craven Hofman offers you something truly unique. I invite you to visit our gallery and working studio to view the varied selection of handbuilt porcelain we offer for your enjoyment. Each piece of Craven Hofman pottery is made using antique lace, some centuries old, to create objects that will be cherished for generations to come. Using the materials that nature has provided, we formulate glazes that dress each piece in a skin of dazzling colors. Colors that often mimic precious gems, stones and weathered metals.

Whether it is a vase, serving piece or a complete dinner set Craven Hofman will add an understated elegance to any setting. Beauty can be a part of everything you do; let us help you live life artfully.
