Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts is an educational program of Highwater Clays in Asheville’s River Arts District. The center is a hotbed of lectures, workshop and interactive classes for all ages interested in ceramic arts.

The mission of our studio school and rental studio is to promote understanding, appreciation and professional development in the ceramic arts. The spirit and the programs of Odyssey are based on the philosophy that every individual's capacity is greatly enhanced by community and creative activity. We believe that within each individual lies the potential for creative development.
