I create mainly functional pieces of ceramic art on the wheel as well as non functional raku. Each piece is individually thrown and hand glazed. I work with high fire stoneware which means my functional pots are dishwasher and microwave safe. My current work is an integration of opposing forces: controlled versus non-controlled surface designs; geometric shapes versus organic shapes and lines.
